Make impactful career decisions based on your core values.

Reclaim your ambition and lead without compromise

Somehow our ambition as Women of Color still gets lost in translation as attitude, aggression, too much, a threat, unrealistic, ungrateful, or not a culture fit.

If you’re a Woman of Color leader, you’ve been trained to:

→ Read the room before you speak

→ Be “easy” to work with, even when things are unfair

→ Carry the emotional labor, the outcomes, and the optics

→ Stay professional while your body screams this isn’t sustainable

And despite today’s political climate trying to drag us backwards, we don’t have to live and work out of alignment anymore.

So whether you’re aiming for your next promotion, making a pivot, or transitioning from corporate to entrepreneurship…

This is your permission slip and your plan:

→ You can grow without shrinking.

→ You can lead without self-betrayal.

→ You can make a bold move without burning your nervous system to the ground.

Hey, I'm Vanity.

I’m a Black woman with nearly 20 years of experience working toward equitable outcomes, and I learned early how bias disguises itself as “process.” When my brother moved from private to public school, my parents received a letter saying he’d be placed in special education within a week. When they asked to see the test results used to justify the decision, the school claimed they had been “misplaced.” My parents brought his actual scores: top 1% in ELA and Math. The placement decision disappeared. That’s how it works. Not always with a slur. Often with paperwork. Years later, as a young Black woman leader at a predominantly white nonprofit, I met executive coaching with the same skepticism I hear from clients all the time: How is talking to someone outside my organization going to help? Two questions into my first session, I was in tears. Not because I was fragile. Because I was carrying what the room refused to name. My coach did what too many workplaces won’t: she located my experience in its real context, identified the overwork pattern and the unequal expectations, and gave me concrete strategies to set boundaries while still leading with impact. That is what I do now. If you’re feeling underestimated, stretched thin, or like your leadership is being shaped more by survival than by choice, you’re not broken. You’re responding to a system that often rewards assimilation and punishes clarity. This 3-month container is not about becoming more palatable. It’s about making your next move with values, strategy, and receipts—so you lead with clarity, protect your peace, and stop shrinking to fit the room.

Your coaching will be responsive to your real-world needs. Common focus areas include:

  • Career transition & advancement: promotions, new roles, and aligned opportunities

  • Values-based decision making: making moves that protect integrity and impact

  • Leadership development: presence, communication, influence, and confidence

  • Workplace culture navigation: thriving in environments that may be challenging or unsupportive

  • Confidence & imposter syndrome: strengthening self-trust and stopping the doubt spiral

  • Work-life integration: boundaries, sustainability, and leadership that doesn’t cost you your health

  • Strategic networking: building support, mentors, allies, and opportunity pathways

  • Conflict resolution & communication: brave conversations, managing up, team dynamics

  • Stress management & resilience: avoiding burnout and building a nervous-system-safe strategy

This is for you if you're...

Feeling drained, misaligned, or “stuck” despite outward success.

Ready to realign your work and life with your values and vision.

Navigating challenging workplace cultures and tired of pretending it’s fine.

Committed to personal growth, leadership, and living authentically.

And your “next move” is…

  • A promotion and you want to step into power without shape-shifting.

  • A new job and you want to choose from alignment, not urgency.

  • A pivot because what used to fit no longer reflects who you are.

  • Entrepreneurship and you want to leave corporate with clarity, strategy, and dignity.

This is executive coaching for ambitious Women of Color who are ready to lead differently.

Not louder. Not harder. Truer.

Vanity provides such a human connection and experience. When you’re coached by Vanity, you start to understand yourself in relation to others and you appreciate yourself and what you bring to the world.

Rachel Brailov

I first met Vanity as a new teacher, she was one of the best coaches I ever had. She had a special way of gently guided me to improve my practices through deeply analyzing myself and the impact I was having on young scholars. Vanity has a way of making everyone feel comfortable while also being able to create a culture where she can push us to think beyond our typical frame of reference. This was pivotal in growing and shifting my mindset.

Nina Rogers

Unexpected learnings from our time together include me realizing that I'm much more experienced and qualified in my field than I give myself credit for. That boost of confidence and belief in myself continues to support me through challenging seasons in my career.

Why this is different?

Most career coaching focuses on tactics: resume edits, interview prep, generic confidence scripts. That’s not useless. It’s just incomplete. Because for Women of Color, the real question is often: “How do I lead and advance without disappearing?” So we work values-first and strategy-forward.

This is NOT for you if...

This is NOT for you if...

  • You want a quick hack instead of real alignment work

  • You want to be “more palatable” instead of more powerful

  • You’re not willing to be honest about what needs to change

  • You’re not able to commit to showing up for yourself over the next 3 months

Question: 3 months from now, are you making your next move with clarity and confidence...or are you stuck in the same frustrations?

Don't stay stuck. Your next move deserves more than guesswork.

If you’re ready to lead with clarity, protect your peace, and stop shrinking to fit the room—this is your moment.
